BEFORE YOUR VISIT
Once you've scheduled your first appointment with Native Chiropractic, we suggest that you thoroughly fill out the paperwork that is linked on our website. You can submit it directly to our team or print it out and bring it with you to your first appointment. If you have any questions, feel free to contact us!
YOUR FIRST VISIT
Your first visit allows us to connect with you and learn about any specific concerns or health goals that you may have. After a tour of our space, we will sit down for a one-on-one consultation to review your initial history. This is the perfect time for you to provide as much detail about your individual needs and concerns. We will discuss nerve interference and how neurologically-based chiropractic care can facilitate healing throughout the body.
After your detailed consultation, we will evaluate how your neuromuscular system is functioning with our state-of-the-art CLA Insight scanning technology. With our technology, we are able to evaluate the location and severity of nerve interference and resultant muscular asymmetries. This assessment is an extremely important part of our initial intake process as we are able to test, rather than just guess, how your nervous system is doing, which allows us to be specific and provide you with the best care possible.
While not always necessary, the final step for your first appointment may be digital x-ray. We take specific chiropractic postural x-rays so we can see the exact structure of your spine and its problem areas. Our in house state-of-the art digital x-ray technology is very safe, specific, and cost effective. * Please allow 45-60 minutes at our office for the initial visit.
YOUR FOLLOW UP VISIT
At your follow-up visit, we will sit down with you to review all the details of your initial examination findings, information on chiropractic care, our technique, and expectations for care. We will then present your specific care plan recommendations to help you reach your health goals. Any questions you may have will be addressed to ensure that you are empowered to make the absolute best decision for you and your family’s health moving forward. Once you decide to proceed with your care recommendations, you will receive your first adjustment from Native Chiropractic! Please allow 30 minutes for this visit.

Do You Take Insurance?
We are a cash-based wellness office serving whole families and do not work directly with insurance companies for many reasons. We do not want insurance dictating your care, for they only see value in short-term, symptom based, sick care. Our practice instead values each and every patient’s healthcare goals, as well as strives to advance true health and wellness within the Oklahoma City community. Not billing insurance allows for us to create the best, most unique, and affordable care plans for our practice members. Native Chiropractic provides many different payment plans, both for individuals and families, to help meet everyone's needs. These plans are oftentimes less than what you would pay with insurance, yet we will gladly provide you with the necessary documentation for reimbursement should you decide to file yourself.
When Will I Get Adjusted?
At Native Chiropractic, we do not guess with your health and are committed to providing you with the best care possible. We value your health and our reputation and are not willing to jeopardize either by rushing into treatment. We split the new practice member appointment into two separate visits because we perform specific, detailed, and unique testing on Day 1, that which the doctors need to look over to create the most individualized recommendations for you and your health goals. After the doctor reviews all of your findings on the second day and you commit to care, you will receive your first adjustment.
Why Should My Child See A Chiropractor?
Stress actually begins with the birthing process. Not only is pregnancy and delivery stressful on mom, but baby as well. From there, with all the schedules, routines, stressors, & non-stop lifestyle, the average child is experiencing greater stress than we often realize. This underlying stress can manifest effects on the nervous system leading to resultant health challenges. Many parents choose to have their children checked by a chiropractor as a proactive approach to their child’s health. Healthy children grow to be healthy adults and that is our mission here at Native Chiropractic.
Is It Safe To Adjust Infants?
Absolutely! Not only is it safe, but the technique of adjusting infants and babies is completely different from how most others will receive care. The baby gets checked by hand and is then placed in the parents lap or a pediatric pillow, where gentle pressure is applied in areas of stress or concern. Babies need such little force, so this gentle pressure that is applied is no different than pressure you can comfortably tolerate by pressing into your closed eye. Most babies find adjustments very relaxing and may even sleep through the process. Chiropractic care for infants is safe, simple, and effective.
How Long Is Each Visit?
Our goal is to deliver quality Chiropractic care, while being respectful of your valuable time. The comprehensive initial visit in our office will take 45-60 minutes to complete. After your second visit, the typical office visit will be between 5 and 15 minutes.
